A friend, a guide, JMAW, reminded me of a very important life lesson.

We must master the mind. Even though I’ve learned this, I sometimes still forget.
If you're anything like me, may God help you. (ha-ha) I usually start each day rushing to find something to wear, grabbing my coffee and darting out the door to maintain the income that provides my life necessities.
For most of us, life is usually fast paced with so many different experiences each moment. Wonderful and not so wonderful words are spoken into our lives. In the rush of life my days have been known to run together and eventually turn into months and even years of heading down the wrong path. After days like this or months, my mind has been known to carry quite the load.
Our minds should be treated like a shopping cart at the grocery store. We go down each aisle carefully choosing the food our family needs, one item at a time. We take special care to make sure we add the “healthy” stuff because we know we need it.
If we don't do the same careful planning with what goes into our mind, we end up with a "cart of food" that damages us. Then it seeps out of our pores and affects those around us.
We must constantly stop, step back and take time to reflect and recall the lessons which we've learned. And each day we must carefully sift through what has come into our lives, checking off all unwanted things, choosing to cast out, disregard and forget the bad (unhealthy) things. It’s like leaving the cookie dough at the counter. Put it down! We know we don’t need it.
Each moment can be a brand new beginning! In God's word, he has promised to make ALL THINGS NEW! (See Below)
If we don't do a regular cleansing, a good experience or what was supposed to be a blessing, will be tarnished because of one little lie we didn't cast out.
We are who we want to be.
Revelation 21
4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, Is. 25.8 neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: Is. 65.19 for the former things are passed away.
5 ¶ And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.
6 And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Ome'ga, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely. Is. 55.1
7 He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son. 2 Sam. 7.14 • 1 Chr. 17.13
8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.
